HPDC can be the single best day you'll have in your car, with emphasis on awareness and car control in a safely controlled environment and with an instructor in the car.

This is for students who have zero or little performance driving experience (DE, HPDC, PDX, autocross, competition drag racing, etc.). Because HPDC is one way to qualify to drive in Potomac DE events, those with ZERO performance driving experience will be given preference. Sign up early, please. Our HPDCs usually sell out more than a month in advance and have long wait lists.

Two students sharing one vehicle is not allowed. Each vehicle must pass a brief inspection (brake pad wear, brake lights, and several other items) at the event in order to be allowed on track. SUVs (yes, even the Macan and Cayenne) are NO LONGER ALLOWED to participate in the HPDC.

All drivers must be at least 18 yrs old and have a valid drivers license.

Reminders: PCA Potomac is also a social club, and new participants are welcomed and appreciated by the entire DE community. Although we love our Porsches, we encourage other passenger car marques to participate. (SUVs and Trucks are not permitted by track rules. Firearms are not allowed during track events. No alcohol or recreational drugs while cars are on track.)  Our DE program does have a “13/13 rule” that can be used at the discretion of our region’s DE leadership in reaction to inappropriate or problematic behavior on the track or in the paddock. This can result in probation and / or “time out” from our DE events for 13 months with reassessment before return permitted.  So PLEASE, drive safe, smart and have a great weekend. As always, it’s not just the cars, it’s the people!  PCA POTOMAC drivers education is 100% fueled by volunteers!  Every event of our season is organized, managed, scheduled and instructed by volunteers who are passionate about this sport.  Our goal is to exceed expectations and make sure everyone has a safe and fun weekend.  We encourage you not only to participate, but also to volunteer/donate to help continue fueling the passion.

Registration Fee: $449
